Dr. Khera is the Country Representative at EngenderHealth, India and previously, the Commissioner for mother and child health, including adolescent health, at the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. He is a medical graduate with a postgraduate qualification in Public Health, with more than 25 years of experience in public health programs at the national level. Previously, he has worked with the National AIDS Control Organization, Government of India, the National Integrated Disease Surveillance Program, and the National Institute of Communicable Disease. He has investigated several outbreaks of communicable diseases and published more than 50 journal articles.
