Weema is a non-binary queer activist from Tunisia, they joined the NGO “The Initiative Mawjoudin for Equality” in 2019 as coordinator of the Mawjoudin Queer Film Festival in its third edition which took place last September 2022. _x000D_

They started volunteering with several organizations, such as “African Queer youth initiative” and “The Coalition of African lesbian”. _x000D_

With Mawjoudin, they are managing a project on SRHR for the queer community in Tunisia. And they are also part of the Alumni Committee with “Women Deliver 2023”, mainly providing support and input regarding inclusivity and safeguarding for the conference.
