Girl Effect

Yvonne is 21 years old and lives in Rwanda. She has completed a General Nursing degree at the University of Rwanda. Due to her preference for community serving , Yvonne belongs to youth organizations and focuses her time on activities related to health, nutrition and gender empowerment. For the past year Yvonne has worked with Girl Effect as a youth advisor involved with a new study (Girls and Mobile 2.0) uncovering how girls access and use mobile in low and middle income countries. The Youth Advisory Panel represented youth from Rwanda, Ethiopia, India, Jordan, Kenya, Nigeria and Tanzania.
