Wafa Dhaouadi, a Tunisian medical doctor, is a passionate advocate for gender equality, sexual and reproductive health and rights, and youth empowerment. With over 11 years of experience in program development, Wafa has successfully addressed complex social issues and promoted individual freedoms, gender equality, LGBTIQ++ rights, and youth empowerment. Since 2017, she has collaborated with the UNFPA to mainstream comprehensive sexuality education in Tunisia. As a co-researcher at Majaaz for Research on Gender and Sexualities, she has contributed to projects like the national strategy on combating GBV, CSE guidance for CSOs, and a gamified CSE tool for youth clubs.
