She is a Maya Kaqchikel feminist, popular educator and environmental activist. She has experience in food sovereignty and climate activism and gender justice advocacy in rural areas. Part of her role at WJI is to assist Community Advocates and program participants to become community leaders. She also leads other individual or collective actors to know and implement WJI’s methodology, ensuring that more women in rural communities achieve legal empowerment.
