Chiranthi Senanayake is a development justice advocate and researcher passionate about Alternative Legal and Development Thinking, and Stakeholder Empowerment Incubation. Her present work promotes stakeholder led dialogue and action on sufficiency-based, sustainability oriented, democracy driven and endogenous development systems in the Global South. Expanding upon eleven years of community service with South Asian development sector stakeholders, she founded Hype Sri Lanka: the region’s first and only youth empowerment incubator which has built the capacities of 82 youth organisations, worked with 30 non state organisations and empowered approximately 1600 young people from Sri Lanka.
