The Judiciary of Uganda/ Supreme Court

Justice Lillian Tibatemwa-Ekirikubinza holds a PhD in law from the University of Copenhagen. She joined the judiciary in Uganda in July 2013 and has served as a Justice of the Court of Appeal and Constitutional Court.
Prior to her appointment to the Supreme Court, Tibatemwa-Ekirikubinza was a professor of law at Makerere University in Uganda, where she also served as Deputy Vice-Chancellor responsible for academic affairs.
She is also a highly experienced and widely researched legal scholar in judicial and legal matters.
Justice Tibatemwa-Ekirikubinza was sworn in as a Justice of the Seychelles Court of Appeal on 16 September 2019.
