Dr Kieu Nga Nguyen was a journalist who wrote about family issues at Vietnam National Radio. She then moved to Australia for 15 years to study and work. She holds a PhD from Flinders University, having completed a MSW and MA also from the same University. Dr Nguyen has extensive experience in teaching, conducting research and practicing social work in gender and diverse populations studies. Since 2022, she has been practicing in a range of settings, including women, children, LGBTIQ+ rights advocacy and the management of services for survivors of GBV. _x000D_
Dr Nguyen is currently the Deputy Director at CSAGA.
