I am a Kenyan lady living with a physical disability. Born and raised in Nairobi, I completed my high school education at St. Anne’s girls, did a short course in pastry and computer literacy. _x000D_
Naturally, I’m and artist and I’ve specified in woodwork and painting making playing and learning materials for children living with disabilities. In interior designing, I design crochet and macrame table mats, carpets and yarn accessories. I intend to further my knowledge in 3D designing to make my work better and make room for more inventions which are detailed. All these is mainly focused in promoting inclusion.

The session will include an overview of MIW How-To Guide: Intersectionality in Practice. COVAW will share lessons learned on using an intersectional approach during the intersectional assessment of economic exclusion of women living in Nairobi County informal settlements. Other panellists will share on their expertise with intersectional approaches as persons with disabilities, a GBV technical advisor and international experts involved in advocacy and movement building.
