Girl Effect

Millenia – also known as Mia – is a 23-year-old nurse from Kenya. She has worked in Tanzania and is currently applying for roles in Kenya, having completed her registered nurse exams in May 2023. She has been a Youth Advisory Panel (YAP) member for Girl Effect for the last 8 months, working to design girl-centered technology to connect girls to sexual health services. She also worked with a local NGO supporting girls to access information and services relating to Sexual and Reproductive Health. She lives in one of the rural areas in Kenya.
