Marielle Le Mat is an advisor in sexual and reproductive health and rights. She is a researcher and lecturer in gender, youth, SRHR, and education. She obtained her PhD degree from the University of Amsterdam, which focused on comprehensive sexuality education and gender-based violence in schools in Ethiopia. Her dissertation included a critical gender and power analysis inspired by gender transformative approaches and methodologies. In her work, Marielle actively seeks to establish links between research, policy, and practice. She is committed to putting her skills and expertise to use to benefit the lives of young men and women globally.
