Emma ONEKEKOU is a black African woman of Ivorian-Burkinabe origin who speaks French. She identifies herself as a feminist, lesbian activist, and writer. She is the founder of WOMA Média, a digital media platform that amplifies the voices of LBTQ women. Emma is also a member of the board of directors of Eyala. Her activism aims to amplify the voices and tell the stories of LBTQ+ women in French-speaking West Africa. She has published two collections of short stories titled “À celles qui s’aiment” and is currently working on her first lesbian film titled “Inbri”.
