Afomiya Mekonnen is a Consumer insights associate at the Sight and Life foundation. Her work entails consumer research, demand generation, and social marketing campaigns addressing malnutrition among people in Africa from vulnerable backgrounds. With a BSc in Nutrition Science and a MSc in Business Administration, Afomiya has worked for various company as a research and insights executive on projects for NGOs such as USAID, Alive and Thrive, Girl effect, and PSI Ethiopia as well as with firms like Diageo, 54 Capital, Repi Wilmar, NZMPE, and Awash winery aside from the government sector.
