Mark Gachagua

Mark is a policy and advocacy specialist. He joined the Policy and Advocacy team at GAIN and his role focuses on strengthening GAIN’s global policy and advocacy work. In his previous roles, Mark conceptualized strategic policy advocacy campaigns and implemented multi-year initiatives to strengthen health programs in Africa. Currently, Mark is working on his PhD in public policy and management at Kenyatta University. In his spare time, Mark likes to take pictures, go for walks in the evening, listen to jazz music, and work with children.
