Cairo builds bridges between civil society and intergovernmental organizations, utilizing her various local and international platforms. She is committed to creating global citizens and was awarded the 2022 Young Pacesetter for Africa Development award on Africa Day at the United Nations, affirming her status as a global change-maker.
