Umulkher is a Member of Parliament in Kenya. She was nominated to the legislative house through the Orange Democratic Party, one of Kenya’s oldest and most prominent political parties. Before her role as an MP, Umulkher founded and led The Keahso Alliance, a non-governmental organization in Kenya that focuses on empowering young people in education and leadership. She has collaborated with organizations such as the European Union, The ASPEN Institute, and other national, regional, and international humanitarian organizations.
