Laetitia Ratnan, an 18-year-old from Chad, is breaking taboos around reproductive health and menstrual hygiene. Through her participation in UNICEF’s “Overcoming COVID” series, she raised awareness during the pandemic, reaching a wide audience. Laetitia is active in girls’ participation, gaining recognition in her community. She inspires girls and women, addressing stigma and discrimination. As a member of the Chad Children’s Parliament, she aims to change mindsets, promote inclusive policies, and ensure access to menstrual hygiene for all. Laetitia’s work contributes to positive change, creating a world where taboos no longer impact girls’ health and well-being.
