Xavérine is a feminist, and activist in advancing women’s Rights in Rwanda. She is the National Coordinator of Réseau des Femmes Œuvrant pour le Développement Rural [Network of Women Working for Rural Development].
Xavérine was appointed as a Commissioner of the National Unity Reconciliation Commission (NURC) in 2009, and from 2011 to 2021 served as its Vice-Chairperson . She also worked as Vice-Mayor in charge of gender, family, and social affairs in the Rwamagana District. She is the Co-Founder and Headmistress of ESPOIR Primary School. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences from the Kigali Independent University (ULK).
