Takunda Tanyanyiwa is a Zimbabwean development practitioner with a decade’s experience working within social inclusion, health promotion and international development programming. Currently, Takunda is a PhD research fellow in Health and Welfare (Norway) with an MPhil in Global Development Theory and Practice – Health Promotion, (Norway) and a Bachelor’s in Public Administration (Zimbabwe). Takunda is a former Programs Coordinator for International Exchange at YMCA-YWCA Norway and currently sits on the board for YMCA-YWCA Global (Norway). In Zimbabwe, Takunda has worked within the Youth Empowerment and Transformation Trust network, Organizing for Zimbabwe Trust, Young Achievement Sports for Development, and Ramangwana Grassroots Development Initiative.
