Aracely Carbajal Morales is the Executive Director of Tequio Juridico A.C. and an indigenous woman from the Chontal community in Oaxaca, Mexico. Her experience with Tequio Juridico has focused on empowering indigenous women. Specifically, she has worked through the Indigenous Women’s Rights program, addressing various themes such as women’s rights, territorial defense, political participation, women’s community organization, prevention of gender-based violence, and social and solidarity economy. Currently, she oversees all of Tequio Juridico’s work as the Executive Director, ensuring comprehensive support to their many programs that sustain the organization’s efforts to assist indigenous communities.
