Jessica a native of Bauchi State North East Nigeria. Final year Marketing student of Federal Polytechnics Bauchi. An advocate for the girl-child education. She established reading circles for out of schoolgirls in her community of Birshi. Jessica is one of the successful peer educators for out of schoolgirls/boys on Plan International Nigeria, KCC MHM project. She educated girls of different age groups, correcting misconceptions about menstruation, boys supporting girls at home, importance of good hygiene practices during periods, also linked over 200 girls to period banks established by Plan. She contributed to reduction of taboo associated with periods.
