Yasmine Bjornum is an activist for women’s rights and empowerment in Vanuatu and the founder of Sista. When Sista was established in 2016, the main purpose was to create a space for Ni-Vanuatu women to connect, share and uplift each other. Sista began as an online magazine and over the years evolved into a women’s rights organisation driven by feminist values. Yasmine is also a freelance journalist and has written for the Vanuatu Daily Post, ABC and The Guardian._x000D_
