Rachel studied Law at the University of Lay Adventist of Kigali (UNILAK) (2007 – 2010).
In 2011-2013, worked with Fasha Gatagara Project, advocating for children with disabilities in Gatagara Schools to have quality education. In 2015, she worked in the Sales and Marketing Department of Rwanda Broadcasting Agency (RBA). That year, she politically contested for and was elected to lead Kigali City. In 2021, she was elected District Councilor in Ruhango District serving as Secretary for 5 years. In 2022, she created and became Legal Representative for an NGO for preventing Genocide ideology, building unity, reconciliation and resiliency among Rwandans.
