Rowella or more commonly known as Owe (oh-wee) is a gender and digital rights activist from the Philippines. She is currently in the role of Project Officer for Digital Disruptors Philippines. The social media campaign that the team is currently working on focuses on Online Gender-Based Violence specifically focusing on the experience of young Filipinos. As a human rights advocate, she has been actively engaging in various initiatives that fight for freedom of expression in the online space, responsible social media use and gender rights.
