Maimouna Yade is a young Senegalese feminist, and a lawyer specialised in gender, development and human rights. Since 2012, she has led several organisations of young Senegalese women and girls, and worked extensively on generational change in Senegalese civil society. She is a member of the Hustlers office of the African Union Special Envoy on Youth [2020 to 2022]. She has led organisations of young women leaders such as AFRIYAN/Girls- a female-led initiative which covers nearly thirty- five countries in Africa. She was also a president of YWA Senegal Youth Women for Action and currently Executive Director of JGEN SENEGAL._x000D_
