Senegalese lawyer, researcher and feminist. With a degree in private law and qualified in Gender, Peace and Security, she has worked as a consultant, notably for Coopération Canadienne [Senegal-Canada Co-operation] and The Girl Generation, a global communication initiative against female genital mutilation. President of the Senegal branch of the Réseau Ouest Africain des Jeunes Femmes Leaders (ROAJELF/SENEGAL) [West African Network of Young Women Leaders] and co-coordinator of the Réseau des Jeunes Féministes d’Afrique de l’Ouest (RJFAO) [Network of Young Feminists of West Africa], she takes a keen interest in human rights issues, specifically those concerning women and girls, the fight against gender-based violence, the sexual and reproductive health of adolescents and gender inequality.
