Senior Regional Director for Latin America & the Caribbean
Catalina Martínez is a feminist from Cali, Colombia. She is the Senior Regional Director for Latin America and the Caribbean of the Center for Reproductive Rights. She is member of “Causa Justa” and “Girls Not Mothers” Movements. She has litigated cases before the Inter-American Court of Human Rights and before the UN Human Rights Committee, and she was one of the plaintiffs in the historic ruling that partially decriminalized abortion in Colombia. Catalina holds two Master’s degrees in public international law and international relations from the Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne and from Institute of Political Studies of Paris (Sciences Po).
