Obioma Chukwuike is an intersex activist, researcher, and environmental analyst. They are Founder and Executive Director of Intersex Nigeria, an intersex focused organization championing for visibility and promotion of intersex rights in Nigeria. In 2021, they authored a report on “Situation of Intersex Persons in Africa During Covid-19 Pandemic”. Their activism and advocacy gears at promoting visibility, respect, and recognition of rights of intersex people. They belong to various Committees working towards improving the rights and wellbeing of intersex people. Obioma are the Co-chair at African Intersex Movement (AIM) and Outright International UN Rights and Religion Fellow.
