Cherie Adhiambo Oyier is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya. She currently runs the law practice of Oyier and Company Advocates and her areas of practice include; AI, digital rights and data protection law. She is keen on the development of ethical technologies. _x000D_
Cherie has undertaken extensive training on data governance law at the Strathmore University (CIPIT), the East African Law Society Institution and the Centre for Human Rights University of Pretoria. _x000D_
She is a former fellow of the Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Policy (CAIDP), Kenya School of Internet Governance, and ISOC Learning Ghana._x000D_
