Chenai Chair is digital technology expert whose work draws on principles of feminism in assessing and implementing digital technology. She is currently a Senior Program Officer – Africa Innovation Mradi – at Mozilla Foundation. She leads Mozilla Foundation’s Africa Mradi project focused on supporting the innovation ecosystem in East and Southern Africa and Mozilla Common Voice African languages program work focused on East Africa. Chenai also founded My Data Rights – a research based repository aimed to provide knowledge on AI, privacy and data from an African feminist perspective.
