Cleo Kambugu is a Ugandan trans woman activist and the Director of Programmes at UHAI EASHRI. She is an ardent advocate for social justice and equality for marginalised groups including sex workers and sexual and gender minorities. She is a Steering Committee Member of the International Trans Fund (ITF), an Advisory Committee Member of the Africa Global TvT and TMM Program at Transgender Europe (TGEU), and an Advisory Board Member at Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice.
