Executive Director
Ibrahim Tommy is the Executive Director of Centre for Accountability and the Rule of Law (CARL), an independent organization promoting human rights, equality and good governance through advocacy and legal and institutional reforms in Sierra Leone. Since assuming leadership of CARL, Ibrahim has led initiatives to promote and defend gender equality and accountability for sexual and gender-based crimes. Ibrahim has worked with networks including the People’s Alliance for Reproductive Health Advocacy to advocate for the decriminalization of abortion and improve access to sexual and reproductive health services. Ibrahim is a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of Sierra Leone.
