Masako Horino is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics in the US. She has worked for the US government to implement and evaluate public health programs to prevent chronic disease at vulnerable populations by promoting healthy lifestyle. She received a Master of Public Health from UCLA and is pursuing a doctoral degree at Johns Hopkins on implementation research, epidemiology, biostatistics and micronutrient deficiencies. With UNRWA, she has executed several research and evaluation projects, including antenatal MMS Implementation and community-based study among pregnant Palestine refugee women in Jordan.
