CAPT Juanika Mainor-Harper, DHSc, MPH, is a Senior Health Scientist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)/Office of Health Equity beginning her career in 1996. She is a Captain in the United States Public Health Service Commissioned Corps (www.usphs.gov) and previously served as the Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Captain Mainor-Harper earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Georgia Southern University, a Master of Public Health degree from Mercer University School of Medicine, and a Doctor of Health Science degree from Nova Southeastern University. _x000D_
