Dr. Ruth Levine is the Vice President of Just Societies and Chief Learning Officer at the Packard Foundation. Previously, Ruth was the CEO of IDinsight, a fellow at the Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University, the director of the Global Development and Population Program at the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, the deputy assistant administrator in the Bureau of Policy, Planning and Learning at the U.S. Agency for International Development, and other senior level positions. She holds a doctoral degree jointly in economics and demography from Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. from Cornell University.
