Dr. Leyla Hussein is a renowned psychotherapist who is committed to ending FGM and advocating for gender rights. She is the visionary behind The Dahlia Project, the UK’s first specialized therapeutic service for FGM survivors, and was elected as the Rector of the University of St Andrews in 2020. In 2018, she founded Magool, a technology startup that leverages her expertise to promote the rights and well-being of women and girls. Her contributions have earned her numerous accolades.
