Jade Maina is a gender and women’s rights activist. She has over fifteen years of experience as an activist working to transform the reproductive health landscape across Africa by increasing access to safe medical abortion and advocating for change in attitudes, laws and policies in sexual and reproductive health. She is currently the Executive Director of Trust for Indigenous Culture and Health (TICAH) based in Nairobi, Kenya and a Co-cordinator of the MAMA Network (Mobilising Activists Around Medical Abortion Across Sub-Saharan Africa).
