Flavia Mutamutega is a gender justice and youth advocate with 15 years’ experience in multi-dimensional gender-inclusive programming for sustainable development. Flavia is a senior safeguarding expert and strategic program manager. She has worked extensively on developing policies and program models for adolescent girls, youth and vulnerable women, including platforms for them to speak, be heard and shape the future they want. Flavia is a mentor to adolescents and young people on sexual reproductive health and rights, safety, and financial literacy. Flavia is the Executive Director of Ni Nyampinga, a Rwandan NGO that empowers young people to be agents of change.
