Currently CARE’s Gender Justice Director, Amy O’Toole has more than 20 years’ experience working in the aid sector in progressively senior management and leadership roles. Her work has had a particular focus on the intersection of development, humanitarian and peace and security with experience living and working in complex and “fragile” contexts (including Afghanistan, Somalia and the Democratic Republic of Congo). She has overseen programming addressing child, early and forced marriage, gender-based violence, and social norms change) and team operations but most importantly, is committed to and passionate about human rights (and gender equality in particular). _x000D_
